I am desperate to buy a few 7" 45s released on Rebound Records (during the 1980s, in Cheshire). Since I have found scant information on this label, I know neither artists nor titles of these catalog numbers: BOUNCE 12 & BOUNCE 13. However; I have recently discovered that:
BOUNCE 2 was The Children of St John's School (choir)- One Star/Star of Bethlehem BOUNCE 15 was The Children of St John's School (choir)- Christmas Is / I Saw Three Ships BOUNCE 16 was Paula Smith - Dim the Lights (a-side) / The Merediths - Gaffer's Song (b-side) These songs were from a musical - Rag Dolls - performed by the Crewe youth players Many of these were recorded at The Cottage in Macclesfield, and many of the 'artists' credited to the titles had not appeared anywhere else before-or-after. The principal producer, contributing musician, and occasional co-songwriter was Nigel Stonier. I also want to buy the 7"45 by Alien - Four Minute Warning/Minute Five on Ellie Jay Records. Im willing to pay top prices |
